BMW TWINPOWER TURBO PETROL ENGINES.

The innovations package of the BMW TwinPower Turbo 4- and 6-cylinder petrol engines is one of the key elements of the BMW EfficientDynamics strategy. A TwinScroll turbocharger with Valvetronic, double-VANOS and High Precision Injection mean lower fuel consumption and an increase in dynamics.

The BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder petrol engine in the BMW 320i has a powerful 135 kW, providing maximum torque of 270 Nm. This enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and to reach a top speed of 230 km/h. Average fuel consumption is a mere 6.6 litres per 100 km with CO2 emissions of 153 g/km. The BMW 328i powertrain provides 350 Nm torque at just 1250 rpm. Thanks to 180 kW, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and boasts a maximum speed of 250 km/h. Average fuel consumption is 6.7 litres per 100 km with CO2 emissions of 156 g/km.

The BMW TwinPower 3.0-litre straight 6-cylinder petrol engine in the BMW 335i boasts particularly impressive performance figures, with 225 kW, maximum torque of 400 Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. The maximum speed is 250 km/h (limited). Average fuel consumption remains low at 7.7 litres per 100 km, enabling CO2 emissions of only 178 g/km.
